Face Value 25 Cents | 1989 | Scott 2418

American novelist Ernest Hemingway is the subject of these vintage stamps. Winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, this stamp is one of the Literary Arts series of stamps issued by the US Postal Service. This stamp shows Hemingway amid an African backdrop. Issued in Key West (where he maintained a residence), in 1989, these stamps still have a postage value of 25 cents and can be used to pay postage on current mail (using additional postage to make up the appropriate rate). Your letter will be perfectly complemented with such a towering figure of literature on the stamp that carries it. These stamps are unused with full gum on reverse; however, due to the age of the stamps, we might recommend using a dab of a glue stick before mailing.

Shipping Info: We ship our stamps, stickers, and other flat items in a sturdy, flat mailer with tracking for the best protection. Because the post office considers this a “package” and not a flexible envelope, the cost of shipping is subject to package prices. This is the best way to protect your purchase.

T-shirts are shipped in poly mailers.
