Face Value 6 Cents | 1969 | Scott 1371

Make your letters out of this world! The 1968 Apollo 8 mission put men into orbit around the Moon, and in 1969, the US Postal Service commemorated this feat with this 6-cent postage stamp featuring the Earth viewed from the surface of the Moon. These blocks of vintage stamps can still be used to pay postage on current mail (using additional postage as needed to make up the current first-class rate). Perfect for a letter to the space lover in your life! These stamps are unused with full gum on reverse; however, due to the age of the stamps, we recommend use of a damp sponge instead of licking the back, or we might recommend using a dab of a permanent glue stick before mailing.

Shipping Info: We ship our stamps, stickers, and other flat items in a sturdy, flat mailer with tracking for the best protection. Because the post office considers this a “package” and not a flexible envelope, the cost of shipping is subject to package prices. This is the best way to protect your purchase.

T-shirts are shipped in poly mailers.
