Face Value 22 Cents | 1987 | Scott 2336

The US Postal Service issued this Delaware commemorative in 1987 as part of a series honoring the bicentennial of the ratification of the constitution. Delaware was the first state to ratify the document, on 7 December 1787. Show your knowledge of US history on your outgoing mail; keep one for yourself, and send the rest to your friends! Interested in more state-related or American history stamps to pair with this one for postage? Check out our other vintage stamp listings. You will receive a block of 20-50 of these vintage 22-cent stamps, all of which can still be used to pay postage on current mail (using additional postage as needed to make up the current first-class rate). All are mint with full gum on reverse; however, due to the age of the stamps, we recommend use of a damp sponge instead of licking the back, or we might recommend using a dab of a permanent glue stick before mailing.

Shipping Info: We ship our stamps, stickers, and other flat items in a sturdy, flat mailer with tracking for the best protection. Because the post office considers this a “package” and not a flexible envelope, the cost of shipping is subject to package prices. This is the best way to protect your purchase.

T-shirts are shipped in poly mailers.
